Developed in 2016 as Digbeth Arts Market, Digbeth Art Space has grown organically since its establishment in 2016, developing into a collective art gallery, shop and market. We have a loyal community of over 500 creatives.

Our creative community provides opportunities for the public to engage in immersive experiences, allowing us to work together in creating bespoke commissions pieces as part of Birminghams thriving independent culture. There is an increasing demand for unique and innovative experiences in the city as is evident in the rise of local independent culture.

However, not enough is being done by government or private institutions to accommodate this. Our mission is to provide unique experiences and spaces to support emerging creatives by giving them the opportunity to showcase their talents without the commercial pressures associated with the funded and private sectors.
